Frankfurt Kitchen, Ely

Design and build after the seminal "Frankfurt Kitchen" designed by the first Austrian female architect Margarete Schütte-Lihotzky in 1926. Following the clients' wishes, the original design was interpreted as closely as possible, from images and museum visits, including bespoke carcasses, drawers, doors, sliding glazed panels, handles and drawer pulls.

The original "Frankfurt Kitchen", as illustrated below from the V&A Collection, is considered the world's first modular kitchen and forerunner of all modern kitchen design:
