ABOUT
WoodWorks was founded by Simon Elliston in 2013.
​
Simon learnt his trade working as a carpenter at Morgan Thomas Construction whilst studying at the Slade School of Fine Art, London 2003-2007. He graduated as a Part 1 Architect from London Metropolitan University in 2012 when he founded WoodWorks, a small carpentry and joinery business that continues to undertake a wide variety of commissions from a workshop in Walthamstow.

WoodWorks has collaborated with a range of other makers and designers including Pierre D'Avoine Architects and Light Motif Event Productions as well as staff and students from the Centre for Alternative Technology, Wales from where Simon graduated with a Part 2 in Sustainable Architecture in 2022.

WoodWorks approaches each new commission as both artist and designer. Simon works with patience and experienced craftmanship to carefully realise every customer's unique vision.
